Nkiru Sylvanus Family Disobey the Police and Pay the Kidnappers N8 Million

According to the Imo State Police Commissioner, Mr Adisa Bolanta we confirmed that the family of the Nollywood actress Nkiru Sylvanus later paid the kidnappers N8 Million for

 warned Nkiru family never to try and negotiate or bargain for her release without getting the attention of the Imo state police Command, but the family ignored the police to went ahead and pay the kidnappers, according to the Imo State Police commissioner the total sum of N7 million has been returned to Nkiru Sylvanus Family.

We gave them back the money; they ignored our warnings and continued secret negotiations with the kidnappers. “They even went behind us and paid N8 million to the kidnappers,” police commissioner said.

The Commissioner assured the Imo state Citizens that the run away kidnappers will be caught, some suspected connection to this kidnapper has be arrested and the Police are still working hard to get hold of the Kidnappers.
