For lifting the trophy, which had eluded Nigeria for 19 years, TomTom will also reward the team with a cash prize of N10 million.
In a similar vein, TomTom Editors Roundtable, the popular no-holds-barred session between the Super Eagles coach and senior sports editors, will also hold at the same venue.
It is first edition for the year and Stephen Keshi, will face top editors and seasoned football administrators in a robust dialogue.
Coming on the heels of Nigeria’s victory, the interactive session will provide a platform for the Super Eagles coach to exchange viable ideas on how to build on his team’s achievement in South Africa.
In particular, the session will review the participation of the Super Eagles at the recently concluded tournament, and identify areas of improvement ahead of the 2013 FIFA Confederation Cup in Brazil where Nigeria will be meeting formidable opponents, including world champions Spain, as well as the FIFA 2014 World Cup campaign.
TomTom Editors Roundtable had its debut when Shaibu Amodu was the chief coach of the Super Eagles. Past editions also featured prominent football personalities including Chief Segun Odegbami and seasoned sports editors and broadcasters such as Kunle Solaja, Mumini Alao and Jenkins Alumona as anchors and panellists.
Corporate Affairs Manager, Cadbury West Africa, Kufre Ekanem, explained that TomTom Editors’ Roundtable was conceived to create a forum for interaction where issues about how to develop the game are dissected and useful suggestions proffered. He maintained that this edition would very engaging.
